How did this couple lose over 50 pounds with dinner?

“Now she can walk the stairs again!”

My friend was flabbergasted.  A family he knows had been eating restaurant food and boxed food for as long as he knew them. They’re just like so many of us. After decades of eating the common North American diet, the family was overweight and inflammation was setting in.  The arthritis started in her hands, and over the years it spread to the joints in her hips and knees.  The inflammation became debilitating.

They still had decades of life ahead of them, and they saw their future.  It could be a happy future with their family, or it could be a future with ongoing pain.

Some people know when it’s time to make a change. They feel a certain sensation growing within. This family decided to change the way they eat.

The family began cooking at home and eating Real Food. Slow changes in the beginning, but once they recognized the power of eating a Real Food Diet, they dove in headfirst.

“Now she can walk the stairs again!  They’ve all lost weight and eat dinner together. Their change has been unbelievable,” said my friend.

But it’s not unbelievable.  To the family, the slow steps to a new food routine was an awakening to the ills that processed foodstuffs and added sugars have caused in their health.  So they cut it out.

The family has lost over 50 pounds together.  They’ve built new habits to cook together and enjoy better foods.  This is a huge win for them and a great inspiration to us all.
